Synopsis
Ten years after capturing the elusive multiple murderer, Bambi Richardson, LAPD Detective Carol Stone finds herself at a crossroads. A reckless on-duty incident leads to her forced early retirement, leaving her bitter and desperate. But when Bambi orchestrates a brutal escape from prison and flees to Toronto, Carol's former Lieutenant, James Briggs, sees an opportunity. He offers Carol a chance to regain her badge if she assists in recapturing Bambi, alongside her ex-husband and former partner, Danny Stone.

In Toronto, Carol and Danny, whose volatile relationship adds another layer of tension, find themselves without jurisdiction, operating in an advisory role. They're forced to collaborate with two local detectives: the amiable Ally Dale, with whom Carol forms an unexpected bond, and the distrustful Bear Papineau, who harbors a deep-seated resentment towards American law enforcement after the unsolved murder of his sister.

As the hunt for Bambi intensifies, she discovers her old adversaries are in Toronto, leading her to brutally murder Ally Dale. Bear, consumed by grief and misplaced blame, struggles to work with Carol. The stakes escalate when it's revealed that Gary Dobson, the student whose family Bambi murdered, has been relocated to Toronto under witness protection and is about to get married. Carol, Danny, and Bear must put aside their personal animosities to protect Gary, bring Bambi to justice, and confront their own pasts in the process.
